Stunning Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti AORUS Graphics Card Pictured

Gigabyte is slowly ramping up their Aorus brand, making it into their premium range of gaming hardware to showcase the best of the best that they have to offer. Now we see their upcoming Aorus graphics card, the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Aorus. It seems that the card still has a similar design to some of their older G1.Gaming cards, so those waiting for that edition will simply need to remember that their gaming hardware is now rebranded Aorus.

The card looks pretty huge, with a triple-fan configuration over a custom PCB design. Unlike the Founders Edition of the GTX 1080 Ti, the Aorus card ships with the DVI port on the back of the card, and it features a full-cover backplate that not only looks cool but should improve the overall durability and thermal performance of the card. One thing I do love about the back is that you can see that exposed copper cooling plate behind the GPU core.

Little is known about this card right now, but it’s easy to make a few guesses. It’ll be faster than the Founders Edition with factory overclocks, and judging by the cooler design and previous high-end Gigabyte cards, it’ll likely still have some overclocking headroom beyond that. The next guess from me, Captain Obvious, is that it’ll be pretty expensive too.

We can’t wait to get our hands on one of these and benchmark it, but we’ll bring you more information on the cards release as soon as we have it.
