We should note, before we go any further, that even right not as I write, Microsoft has issued nothing to confirm that Sunset Overdrive is heading to the PC. Officially, Sunset Overdrive is still an Xbox One exclusive. Unofficially though, there’s more than enough information to suggest that this is about to change.
Over the last few weeks, there’s been more than a few indications that this PC port would be coming. It seems though that Amazon may have let the cat out of the bag as the game has appeared on their website set to release on November 16th.
The listing comes from the US version of the website, but that’s more than a fair indication that this does truly exist. Amazon might occasionally create placeholders, but not ones so specific.
If you are curious, you can check out the official Amazon page in the link here.
While a PC release is certainly unexpected, it’s not unwelcome. Particularly since, if Amazon is anything to go by, it’s going to retail for something around $20. For that price, even if it’s just a lazy direct port, as long as it controls well, this will still represent a lot of fun.
With the release presumably scheduled for November 16th though, if they are going to officially announce this game, they had better hurry up!
