To add choice in the mainstream segment, Super Flower is working on a new 500W modular PSU, with a manufacturer-rated efficiency of 85%. The SF-500K14XP (pictured below) is very similar to the SF-550K14XP, which was unveiled in April.
The new model features LLC resonant half-bridge rectifiers, with a conversion efficiency that, according to Super Flower, is comparable to 80 Plus Bronze requirements. The unit has sufficient modular cabling to power a single graphics card gaming PC. Pricing information has yet to be announced.
