Super Talent present a Storage POD enclosure featuring USB 3.0

Super Talent Technology has presented us amazing memory products and they keep doing so, more recently with the USB 3.0 Storage POD enclosure.

As of today, USB 2.0 external storage are very common, yet they are restricted in speed because of the 2.0’s limited bandwidth, so an update to the SuperSpeed 3.0 version would make a radical difference, making it easy is even better, and this is exactly what the POD sets to do.

Installation is a breeze, five minutes is just what you need; take two screws of the back, place the 2.5” (standard 9.5mm) HDD inside the rubber grommet surrounds, pop it in, screw the cover back on. Child’s play.

The rubber grommet stated above basically surrounds the HDD and protects it from any shock.

Entirely powered through the more potent USB 3.0, a blue light turns on when the drive is connected, the rubbery protection allows the tranquillity of safe data, and the larger bandwidth allows for less hassle over slow transfer.

Super Talent have provided a very thorough video explaining the installation procedure as well as the included accessories:

Already shipping now, the USB 3.0 Storage POD is priced at $29, making SuperSpeed accessible to anyone.
