Computex 2015 – Power supply manufacturer SuperFlower has unveiled a new power supply design. This is a brand new Gunmetal Grey power supply. It will most likely be based on the same internals as the rest of the Leadex range, just in a different coloured case. The ‘Gold’ branding suggests that this will feature an 80PLUS Gold efficiency rating.
Looking at the modular cable inputs, the design is slightly different to all of the current SuperFlower power supplies, which suggests that this could be a brand new model. It features 7 ‘universal’ plugs and 2 motherboard plugs and an eco switch for low power draw tasks. The size of the power supply leads us to believe that it features a 140mm fan when compared to other SuperFlower units and that it could have a potential wattage between 650W and 1300W. However, with technology rapidly changing, this could well be a higher wattage unit.
We look forward to hear of the official specifications of this power supply and can’t wait to review it. We will keep you updated with any news and events from the rest of Computex 2015.
