A Closer Look at the Camera
The camera’s are quite simple on the outside, and they’re compact too. That’s both great as it allows them to blend in well with their surroundings.
The foot-mount is padded on the inside for a firm and secure placement on the wall or ceiling. There’s also a groove to route the connection cable out through.
The included tool can be used to adjust the camera angle. You’ll want a horizontal horizon in your view, and that’s no problem. You can rotate the foot, angle the arm, and rotate the camera casing. A full three angle setup for perfect alignment.
You can turn it all the way to a 90-degree angle in 9 adjustment points.
When you’re unpacking the cameras, the lens is protected with a plastic film. You shouldn’t remove this before you’re done with the installation as it frees you up to touch it everywhere while mounting without the risk of placing fingerprints all over the lens.
The cameras only need a single cable connection even though there are several signals. The BNC connectors are used for the video signal while the power goes through the other. A centralised power distribution makes the installation and maintenance a lot easier.
There isn’t a lot more to highlight here. It is a simple design made to blend into the background. Thanks to modern hardware on the inside, they’re also compact – and rugged. Yes, you can even mount them outside.
