A Closer Look
With the side panel off, you can immediately see that this is a fantastic looking system. The build quality is rock solid and I’m very impressed on my first impressions of the Syber chassis. Cable routing is phenomenal here, with the use of those gorgeous Phanteks extension cables, giving us a clean and vibrant finish.
Air intake comes from this 140mm RaidMax fan right in the front, mounted nice and low to get cool airflow into the system. You’ll also notice there’s a nice LED light strip up the front, which we’ll see in action shortly.
That GTX 1070 from MSI looks neat and tidy here, loads of room for airflow around it, and that lovely GPU 8-pin cable running through from the PSU shroud and keeping it looking neat and tidy.
The CPU cooler is the Corsair H100i V2, which always looks great and it’s certainly a compliment to the design, and we know it’s got reliable performance too, especially on overclocked hardware.
Tucked below the cooler, you’ll find the Intel 600P series M.2 SSD.
The HyperX memory with its sleek black heat spreaders, and room in there to expand that to four modules too.
The cooler is top mounted, with the fans setup in a push configuration. There’s also another light strip up there, so this system should really shine when powered up.
Behind the motherboard, there’s still an attention to detail when it comes to build quality. All the cables are neat and tidy, cable tied down yet laid out so they’re easy to maintain or change.
The cable extensions are great, keeping the less attractive black cables out of sight, and keeping the front end of the system looking great.
There’s plenty of room under the shroud to store excess cables too.
As for storage, we also have a 1TB HDD tucked away in the base, with a spare bay for another one if you want to expand
There’s also another 2.5″ drive mount hidden behind the motherboard tray too.
The build quality on this chassis is great, and it features dust filters where you would really need them. Another cool touch is that it features carry handles on the top, making it LAN gaming friendly.
The angular design is easily going to appeal to a gaming audience too, and there’s LED lighting built into the chassis interior, the front panel, and some cool lighting in the base of the front panel, which I’ll show you in a moment.
Behind the front panel, you’ll find a magnetic door hiding 2 x 5.25″ drive bays.
Around the back, everything is as you would expect and the Gigabyte motherboard offers up plenty of connectivity, as does the back of the GTX 1070, with multiple display outputs, including HDMI, DisplayPort, and DVI.
Powered up, the system gives off some gorgeous orange lighting, showing off the hardware on the interior in all its glory, and the colour match between the lighting and the cable extensions looks really cool too.
Remember that cool front panel trick I mentioned? There’s lighting tucked in the panel and a cool grille finish that lights up the floor with the Syber logo; a simple yet effective bit of flair.
