Sylvester Stallone Wants Sigourney Weaver for The Expendabelles

As soon as I heard the movie title “The Expendabelles” I know exactly what this film was going to be about! I then also though to my self “my god, that is a sh**ty name for a movie”, but hey, the branding works.

So with the prospect of a movie of action packing females in the works, Sylvester Stallone has said that he would love for Sigourney Weaver to take a role in the movie. We all know she’s played a lot of badass roles in movies, so she’s an easy choice for an Expendables movie.

When discussing the movies plot ideas, Stallone said that it could feature “a messy divorce between him and Weaver. The couple would be splitting up their assents, resulting in Weaver getting half the Expendables.” He then joked, “So she’d get the house, the kids and my mercenaries!”. Although other plot rumours have suggested that the female cast would be undercover call girls shipped over to a dictator to rescue a scientist… either way you bet there will be a lot of hard hitting action from the guys and the girls.

Rumours say that other considerations for roles in the movie are Zeo Bell, Cameron Diaz, Milla Jovovich and even Meryl Streep. So eTeknix community, which action loving female actor would you love to see star along side the big hitters of the Expendables franchise?
