A Closer Look The Synology USB Station 2 is actually very small and light coming in at under 150g for the unit itself. The top of the unit is gray with the Synology logo in the middle and some air holes in the four corners. The front of the unit has three LEDs for Power, LAN and USB HDD activity. On the front is the USB Station 2 label.
On the right side of the Synology USB Station 2 it has a disconnect USB disk button, this disconnects any connected USB disks from the unit to allow for safe removal.
The left side of the unit is just plain without any branding or buttons.
The back of there is a reset button, gigabit LAN connection, 2x USB 2.0 sockets and the power connection.
The bottom of the Synology USB Station 2 contains the model, serial number, mac address, power input requirements and its manufacture location, as you can see it can also be mounted to the wall.
