System Requirements For Dragons Dogma 2 Revealed

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is the upcoming sequel from Capcom 12 years after its original release which means when comparing the two, there is going to be a pretty sizeable jump in system requirements, and by sizeable I really mean it.

Dragons Dogma 2 System Requirements

Starting off with the minimum 1080p 30FPS requirements, you’ll probably be perfectly fine with if you’ve got a new PC of the last 4-5 years. The recommended CPU starts with either an Intel i5-10600 or a Ryzen 5 3600 alongside 16GB of RAM, the GPU requirements start with a GTX 1070 or RX 5500 XT.

Moving up to the recommended requirements for 4K 30FPS, we see the CPU change only slightly to an i7-10700 or Ryzen 5 3600X again with 16GB of RAM. GPU sees a larger generational jump up to an RTX 2080 or RX 6700. If you’re playing on 1080p or 1440p with reasonably new hardware you’ll probably be right as rain.

Now moving up to the Ultra requirements which is where things get a bit more demanding, and I really mean it. For 4K 30FPS Ultra settings, you’ll need at least an i9-12900KS or Ryzen 9 5950X, alongside 32GB of RAM and either an RTX 4080 or Radeon RX 7900 XT. Though for a new game at max settings 4K this isn’t really unexpected, plus DLSS 3 should open up some more performance here, unless 30 FPS is all you’ll get even with DLSS 3.

Character Creator is Now Available

Dragons Dogma 2 releases on the 22nd of March but if you’re eager to get involved, the character creator is available now on Steam. You can create up to 5 Arisen, Your player character, as well as up to 5 main Pawns, your companion, and store them up for use in the game. The creator seems highly versatile with lots of different options for your character including different species.
