The System Requirements for the upcoming Forza Motorsport have been revealed with some big demands.
Forza Motorsport is the reboot of the franchise due to release October 10th on PC and Xbox with some high expectations from myself. Today the official PC system requirements have been revealed for the game and are pushing towards the upper end of the market.
Starting off at the bottom the minimum specs are for a 6-core CPU with the i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 1600 paired up with a GPU with at least 4GB of VRAM and at least 8GB of system RAM. With these requirements, any recent PC within the last 5 years should run the game at low settings quite easily.
For recommended specs, you are looking at something a bit more recent with at least a 6-core CPU with the i5-11600K and Ryzen 5 5600X paired up with an 8GB VRAM card either the RTX 2080 Ti or RX 6800 XT. Alongside this, you should have a minimum of 16GB of RAM.
Moving to the Ideal specs for Ultra Settings the CPUs have been upped to at least an 8-Core with the i7-11700K and Ryzen 7 5800X and the GPUs have been upped to near the top end of current components with an RTX 4080 and RX 7900 XT alongside a 16GB VRAM recommendation and 16GB of system RAM.
Finally, the game size requires 130GB of space and it is recommended to install the game on an SSD for the best performance.
I think I’ll be able to hit the ultra-ideal specs though they haven’t mentioned anything about the target frame rate or resolution so I’ll assume 1080p 60 for minimum, 1440p 60 for recommended and 4K 60 for Ideal.
Forza Motorsport arrives on the 10th of October on Steam and the Xbox Store for £59.99 and will be available on Gamepass from day one.
