Team Fortress 2 has endured a difficult few years due to rampant cheating, botting, and a perceived lack of attention from Valve, with no major updates in years. However, recent developments suggest a positive shift, as Valve has reportedly made strides in addressing the bot and cheater problem while finally delivering a much-needed update to the game.
TF2 Update
The update will bring with it some new community-made maps, 10 to be exact and they are Embargo, Odyssey, Megaton, Cachoeira, Overgrown, Hadal, Applejack, Atom Smash, Canaveral, and Burghausen. Speaking of maps the update will also make some changes to the map pool bringing in Haarp, Frosty, Snowtower, Rumford, and Hacksaw to the existing rotation.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Team Fortress 2 update without a plethora of new cosmetics and loot boxes, this time including four new taunts and 38 new unusual effects sprinkled throughout. For a comprehensive list of everything included in this update, you can refer to the patch notes below.
