Overall, the TeamGroup T-Force Dark-Z DDR4 isn’t the fastest memory kit we’ve ever tested, then again, it isn’t the most expensive either. On the other hand, it’s not the slowest or cheapest either. So it comes as no surprise that it performs somewhere in the middle. It scored a respectable 2059 in CineBench R15, and competitively in 3DMark, WPrime, etc. Honestly, there’s nothing remarkable here. However, it’s right on the money for what we would expect from a 3600 MHz kit and that’s absolutely fine.

Overclocked

This didn’t go as well as I had hoped. Our kit only saw a small boost, going up to a modest 3733 MHz. That’s hardly a worthy boost from the 3600 MHz. However, it’s not an extreme set of overclocking memory either. You never know, another kit on another day could easily hit 4000 MHz, but that’s the lottery you play with any hardware when overclocking.

Either way, it saw a little performance bump, and we can’t turn our noses up at that. However, for this kit, I’d also argue that 3600 MHz will do just fine.
