Final Thoughts
Price
The TeamGroup T-Force RoG 16GB 3000 MHz kit is available right now for around £120. That obviously isn’t cheap, but it’s certainly competitive given kits of this speed can often cost more than £150. There’s a lot of competition in the market right now, and prices are typically quite high, but this is still a good deal overall.
Overview
The TeamGroup T-Force RoG 16GB (8 x 2 GB) 3000 MHz memory kit keeps things nice and simple, or at least it gives the impression that it does. The four piece heat sink design manages to look both sleek and aggressive at the same time. The four-part construction gives it a mixture of textures and finishes that allow it to look visually impressive, while maintaining a relatively slim and low profile design, and it doesn’t need LED lighting to feel slick and modern. The RoG branding looks cool, and will no doubt put a smile on the face of those with an ASUS focused build, but even then it’ll still look very nice in most other motherboards thanks to its use of fairly standard colours and shades.
Regarding performance, the kit can certainly hold its own, offering up robust data rates that can both compete with and in some cases beat the competition. The bandwidth figures are certainly good at the stock XMP profile of 3000 MHz, but it was overclocking that left us impressed, with the kit hitting 3333 MHz, and providing a significant improvement in most benchmarks, with zero issues regarding stability. I was able to maintain the same timings, and only really required a boost to the overall voltage, taking it up to 1.38v, although you may fair better or worse, as every kit behaves differently with even the slightest of hardware changes.
With good overclocking headroom, a relatively low profile design, blazing fast speeds, and competitive prices, it’s a bit of a no-brainer that this is a fantastic kit. If you’re looking for something to give your gaming rig a nice performance boost, this would certainly be the way to go

“The TeamGroup T-Force RoG 16GB 3000MHz kit is ideal for those who want to build a high-performance gaming system with a focus on overclocking. If you want a fast system, you’ll want high-speed memory, and you’ll struggle to find a more competitive bundle at this price range!”
