Tecware Nexus Evo Mid-Tower Case Review
Peter Donnell / 4 years ago
Tecware may be a relatively new name to many of you, but it’s certainly not the first time we’ve had them on eTeknix! They’ve impressed me before with their competitively priced gaming mice and keyboards, and I loved those! However, this is the first time I’m reviewing one of their PC cases. I have the Tecware Nexus Evo with me today, and for just £50, it’s certainly kind to the wallet. However, looking at the features on offer, it sounds like a deal that must be too good to be true.
Features
It’s a fairly compact mid-tower, but it’ll still house an ATX motherboard, as well as a fairly large graphics card of up to 350mm. Plus, you can get a 160mm tall CPU cooler in there, and still have 180mm clearance for an ATX PSU. That’s pretty decent for a mid-tower, and most high-end GPUs and big air coolers should fit easily enough. Furthermore, you get a PSU shroud, tempered glass on the side panel, RGB, three pre-installed 120mm fans, and a choice of black or white finishes. Again, at this price, that’s a pretty solid feature set!
- Angular Matte-finished Front Panel with 4mm Tempered Glass panel
- Compact Case w/ RGB Glow through vents
- Pre-installed: 3 x 12cm Black Fans
- 1 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0, HD Audio + Mic
- Support for ATX, Micro ATX, Mini ITX
What Tecware Had to Say
“The Nexus Evo from Tecware is a user-friendly mid-tower gaming case that offers both excellent functionality and beautiful aesthetics. Using the integrated RGB button, you can switch between lighting modes to suit your style, with a total of seven RGB effects and seven static colour modes. Inside, utilise a wealth of space for cable management, high-end components, and more. The Nexus Evo also comes with 3 x 120mm fans, so you don’t have to worry about cooling, and enjoy impeccable performance straight out of the box.” – Tecware
