Lets start by taking a look at the packaging, across the front we can see our first look at the headset its self and that the TH Pro features Virtual 7.1 audio, for those of you who don’t understand what virtual 7.1 is, the headset is essentially 2.0 stereo like any other pair of headphones, but the included software or hardware on the device works some magic to make it sound like surround sound, personally I’m always rather sceptical of virtual surround but we’ll cover more on that in the performance section.
Opening up the box we get a quick run-down of some of the headsets features, such as the adjustable headband, noise-cancelling microphone, in-line remote control and it’s gold plated USB connector. We also get our first view of the headset its self with its smooth black finish.
