Tenda Technology is a Shenzen-based company providing networking products and have been gaining ground in the worldwide market due to their affordable and competitively priced product line. Their latest is the new A9 Wireless N300 Extender, which as the name implies, extends wireless reception at home in a compact form factor. The Tenda A9 plugs in directly to any wall socket and supports up to 300 Mbps 802.11n speeds.
For an extended range coverage, the A9 comes with two 3dBi external antennas, able to boost the wireless coverage up to more than 200 square meters. Using it is as simple as pressing a button and it will automatically connect with existing signal, compatible with most popular brand 802.11b/g/n standard wireless routers. An LED indicator in the front gives a quick heads-up of the signal strength with green indicating a strong connection and a yellow indicating that it needs to be moved closer. For security purposes, it can also hide SSID. For users with a router that does not have a WPS button, the Tenda A9 can also be wirelessly configured via Smartphone or Tablet.
The best feature of the Tenda A9 is of course the price. For only $24.99, the plug-and-play can provide full wireless coverage, minimizing a home’s WiFi connectivity deadzone instantly. For more information, visit: http://www.tendaus.com/N300%20Wireless%20Universal%20Range%20Extender.htm
