Tenda W150M Portable Wireless Access Point Review

A Closer Look
Alongside the router, Tenda include a mains to USB power adaptor with a USB to USB-B cable for power (as the unit can be powered from any USB port), a CD with a quick installation guide and manual on as well as a leaflet and last of all a CAT5e patch lead.
Accessories aside and looking a little closer at the W150M, the first thing that I will note is how light it is, typical home routers also in respect to this tiny unit are rather bulky but we do have to consider that these units typically pack a modem in as well as a four port switch. The W150 is also no bigger than your typical smart phone of today meaning that it is easy to slip in your bag or pocket ready for plugging in and getting fired up when needed.
On the top end of the W150M is a USB-B power for power and a 10/100 LAN/WAN port.
Along the lower edge of the router are a series of blue LEDs that light in up in correspondence with the mode that has been selected.
On the right hand side are two small buttons for changing the routers operating mode and for also enabling WPS connections to be made. The WPS button also doubles up as a factory reset button when held for an extended period of time.
