TerraMaster has today released 3 new Private Cloud NAS devices, the F2-212, F4-212 and the U4-212 for personal and home users.
The new 212 NAS series offer support for TRAID, BTRFS file system, Snapshot and TFSS all within a new and modern exterior design. This new design is more fashionable and modern with better heat dissipation, lower noise and a more convenient installation and use. They are available in an F2 with two slots, F4 with four slots and a U4 in a rack-style mount with 4 slots each of which use a tool-free push-lock design which prevents the HDD from falling out or disconnecting. These units are able to support up to 44TB and 88TB respectively.
The 212 series is equipped with a more powerful ARM V8.2 Cortex-A55 64-bit 1.7 GHz quad-core processor running the latest TOS 5 operating system. They also support the TRAID flexible disk array management tool as well as Snapshot and TerraMaster File System Snapshot for full data protection and recovery solutions. Each of these drives can be incorporated with public cloud services such as Google Drive, Amazon S3, Dropbox and One Drive plus can be accessed from the TNAS Mobile client on Android and iOS.
