Tesla Developing ‘Metal Snake’ Charger

Tesla is working on a charger for its cars that you don’t even have to plug in, because it’ll do it all by itself. “For realz” (the words of Elon Musk, not mine).

It’s not yet clear how this would work, but a company called OC Robotics might just be developing the technology Tesla is looking to use. As you can see bellow, this video posted to their YouTube account (via Mail Online) shows such as system in use. A metallic tube curves and bends its way around very much like a real snake.
