Tesla Reveals Master Plan

Tesla has revealed their master plan, the plan which will shape their entire business strategy for the company and it’s quite ambitious.
Tesla’s CEO and founder Elon Musk revealed the companies future plans in a blog post stating that:
“By definition, we must at some point achieve a sustainable energy economy or we will run out of fossil fuels to burn and civilization will collapse. Given that we must get off fossil fuels anyway and that virtually all scientists agree that dramatically increasing atmospheric and oceanic carbon levels is insane, the faster we achieve sustainability, the better.”
Alongside the luxury Model S and the affordable Model S the company is looking to create and market the Model X, a luxury electric SUV. If you’re not into cars the company will capitalize on the purchase of SolarCity to create a single solar battery system that would unite the companies (Tesla and Solar City) together.
The next plan would be the creation of a compact SUV and pickup truck, Tesla also plans to announce a Semi next year alongside a new city bus. The bus wouldn’t just be an electric vehicle but would feature denser seating and taking passengers directly to their locations instead of to dedicated bus stops.
The key point to most of these vehicles and plans is the autopilot software, that looks to become an even more integral part of the vehicles sales, being used to create ride-sharing vehicles and automated buses that run with minimal human input.
