Tesoro has unveiled their Excalibur RGB LED backlit mechanical keyboard, which has a 16.8 million colour palette to choose from. The LED backlight can be set to breathing mode, colour loop and 2 gaming modes where only the primary gaming keys are illuminated. The LED light can also be dimmed in 4 steps to adjust to your liking.
The keyboard supports full N-Key rollover (NKRO) for anti-ghosting or USB 6 N-Key rollover when connected that way. A 1000 Hz polling rate helps to make sure no keystroke is missed. The gamer-lock-mode will switch off dangerous keys such as the Windows button that could minimize your game if accidentally pressed.
It has 512KB onboard memory for macro recording without the need for extra software. Personalized settings are stored in the built-in memory, allowing the keyboard to be fully synchronized for better performance. In fact, every key is programmable allowing for 5 sets of profiles with 300 macro keys and 2000 macro key presses each. The mechanical switches used are engineered for 60 million keystrokes.
The new Tesoro Excalibur RGB Edition keyboard should be available in December and carry a suggested retail price of $119.00.
