Tesoro is a highly-respected hardware company specialising in peripherals and gained notoriety for releasing affordable products. This notion spans across gaming keyboards, ergonomic mice and comfortable mouse pads. Their latest creation is the Gram Spectrum RGB keyboard sporting Tesoro AGILE mechanical switches. These low profile switches offer a short travel distance while retaining a tactile feel. This means you can effortlessly press keys during intense gameplay moments and type large documents in an effective manner.
The Spectrum supports full RGB illumination with 16.8 million colour options as well as numerous lighting effects including breathing, colour wave and more. This provides superb flexibility and allows you to create a very spectacular appearance. On another note, the keyboard utilises double-injection keycaps and is built on a robust metal plate.
Johan Borggren, VP of Sales at Tesoro Technology described their latest product and said:
“The ultra-accurate, low-profile Tesoro AGILE switches bring something truly unique to market, a low-profile mechanical keyboard that does not surrender the tactile feel,”
The GRAM Spectrum is jam-packed with features and rich in customizable functions making it a premier choice for dedicated gamers.”
Technically, the product opts for a 32bit ARM processor with 512KB of onboard memory to record complex macros. Each key is fully programmable and the unit has a 100Hz polling rate. It also supports full N-key/G-key rollover. In terms of pricing, the black model will retail for $137.00 while the white edition has an MSRP of $139.00. Both products should be available at the beginning of June.
