You’re the last defence against a deadly virus in The Division 2. However, guns and grenades aren’t the only weapons you’ll want to use to tackle the issues at hand. Getting the most out of The Division 2 starts with a kick-ass PC setup. Of course, Ubisoft says this game is pretty well set up. That means that even a modest gaming PC should be able to enjoy it at 1080p. However, for those wanting to push to 1440p, or even up to 4K resolutions, you’ll likely want to bring out the big guns. Uhm, I mean graphics cards.
We’ve been playing away at the game for the last couple of days. It only launched on Friday, so giving our full review/analysis isn’t easy. However, we’ve pushed through and tested a wide range of AMD and Nvidia graphics cards. Which cards work best for which resolution? How do the Low, Medium, High and Ultra profiles affect the game’s performance? That’s what we’re here to find out!
First up, we have the AMD RX570, RX580, as well as both the VEGA 56 and VEGA 64. We’re (still) waiting on our Radeon VII though, as review samples seem to be something of a mythical beast right now. We’ll add those results in as soon as we can though. However, beyond that, we have the GTX 1060, as well as its 2019 replacements, the GTX 1660 and the GTX 1660 Ti. Beyond that, we have the more high-end GTX 10-series cards, as well as the 2019 flagship cards from the RTX series; 2060, 2070, 2080, and 2080 Ti.
We’ve only added one card from each model for clarity. However, we have tested a few others that will be shown in their stand-alone reviews over the next few days. These results, as well as any more we do, will be added to our GPU reviews going forward, bringing us up to seven games after our other recent addition of Far Cry New Dawn.
