The Evil Within 2 Red Band Trailer Released

The sequel to Bethesda Softworks‘ The Evil Within 2 is due to launch on Friday the 13th tomorrow. To get fans’ blood flowing they have released the uncensored red band trailer before the release. So if you are weak of heart or feel queasy watching virtual gore you might want to skip this one. However, if you have not played the game before but is interested in checking out what you can expect, this trailer is perfect for you.

The Evil Within 2’s plot continues directly from the first, although it is a stand-alone story that should not be difficult to follow for most. In the original,a mysterious corporation called Mobius has created a device called STEM. This device connects the human mind to an alternate chaos dimension filled with horror. It has trapped the lead character Sebastian Castellanos and he must fight his way out. In the sequel however, Sebastian’s daughter Lilly, whom he thought has been dead for years is actually trapped in STEM. So he must return and rescue her, before it is too late.

Before you go and buy the game, check out the system requirements first. It is not using ID Tech 6, but rather a modified ID Tech 5 engine.
