The GDC 2018 Choice Awards Nominees Have Been Announced

Are you ready for the Game Developers Conference?

All gamers should rejoice! GDC 2018 is rapidly approaching, and now we know which games are on the ticket for its famous Choice Awards. The event will take place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California between March 19th and 23rd, by the way. As for the Choice Awards, they will kick off on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at 6:30 pm Pacific Time. To point out, some of the most appreciated games for this year include The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Horizon: Zero Dawn. However, there are many other contenders on the nominee list. These include Nier: Automata, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Cuphead, and Super Mario Odyssey. Furthermore, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds might just become the next Game of the Year.

Voting jury and eligibility criteria.

It appears that pretty much any game released in 2017 is eligible. Moreover, industry pros from all over the world can nominate for the awards completely free of charge. The winners are selected by the Game Developers Choice Awards-specific International Choice Awards Network. This is an invitation-only organization that comprises game creators from all industry areas. You can have a look at the complete list of nominees below. The Game of The Year category is definitely attention-worthy.
