The Last of Us Part 1 PC Fixes Are Prioritised Over Steam Deck Compatibility

The Last of Us Part 1 on PC has had a very rough launch plagued with glitches and bugs and the publishers have correctly decided that fixing these issues is the priority over compatibility with the Steam Deck.
The Last of Us PC Prioritised over Steam Deck
In a tweet Naughty Dog, the publisher behind the game announced that those who want to enjoy the game on the Steam Deck will have to wait as submitting for verification is the least important thing as of now. As most would expect, the publishers would like to ensure the PC version is fully functioning before submitting for Steam Deck Verification which could’ve been done before they released the game but that’s not how game development works nowadays.
Tuesday Patch and Friday Patch
Also mentioned are the dates we should expect some patches to hopefully fix many of the issues one of which will be released at some point today and another will be for Friday. Naughty Dog will reveal what to expect in the Friday patch ahead of its launch.
The Patch notes for the Tuesday Patch are as follows
