The Last of Us PC Release Gets Slight Delay to Add More Polish
Mike Sanders / 2 years ago
The Last of Us Part 1 is undoubtedly one of the most highly-anticipated PC gaming releases on the short-term calendar. Given how absolutely incredible the PS5 remake/remaster looked, people are clearly more than a little excited to see what this title can produce on PC. And particularly so with some potent hardware to work with!
With it originally scheduled for release on March 3rd, however, I’m afraid that following a report via Destructoid, we have some good and bad news. The bad news is that the developer has confirmed that the PC port of The Last of Us Part 1 has been delayed. The good news though is that it’s only getting pushed back by a few weeks!

The Last of Us Part 1 PC Release is Slightly Delayed!
Based on this new update, The Last of Us Part 1 will now officially release for PC on March 28th. So it has, effectively, been delayed by around 3-4 weeks. Why has it been pushed back though? – Well, based on the developer’s comments, they clearly feel they just needed a little extra time to give the PC port a bit more polish, and, in fairness, it’s hard to argue with that.
Given how hugely important a release this is, it would, just to act a little out of the ordinary, be nice to see the PC release get off to a solid start!
