The Last of Us Part II Remastered PC Features and System Requirements Revealed
It’s only a few weeks until The Last of Us Part II Remastered lands on PC, and to celebrate, developers Naughty Dog have revealed the PC-specific features and system requirements. Without a doubt, this game should look pretty amazing, it certainly did when it was released on consoles, and with the latest Nvidia and AMD scaling technologies, and improved graphics, it should be looking and performing better than ever.
The game is packing all the enhancements from the 2024 PlayStation 5 release, including the challenging roguelike ‘No Return’ mode, the creative ‘Guitar Free Play,’ and in-depth developer commentary. This PC iteration, crafted in collaboration with Nixxes Software and Iron Galaxy, comes equipped with NVIDIA DLSS 3 Super Resolution and AMD FSR 3.1 and FSR 4, offering both upscaling and frame generation capabilities. Players will also benefit from VSync and flexible framerate options, including an uncapped mode, along with DirectStorage support for lightning-fast loading.
Furthermore, the PC version boasts a comprehensive suite of graphical settings, allowing for granular control over Texture Quality, LOD Distance Range, Volumetric Quality, Shadow Quality, Ambient Occlusion, and reflection quality, ensuring a tailored experience for a wide range of hardware configurations.”
This version of The Last of Us Part II Remastered is optimized for PC with:

PlayStation Network log-in bonuses
If you want the PlayStation overlay and PSN Trophies, you’ll need to sign in with an PlayStation Network account. However, Sony mave have learned their lesson, because this step is now optional, woo-hoo!
How to Play
You can pre-order The Last of Us Part II Remastered on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store ahead of the April 3 release, but as with most things I suggest with gaming, I don’t pre-order. I’ll buy it when I’m darn well ready.
