The Performance of AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT is Close to a Radeon RX 7900 XTX from the Previous Generation

AMD had planned to skip a high-end graphics card for its upcoming RDNA 4 series, which will be revealed in just a few days. This series is expected to arrive in stores on March 6. Although details about the technical specifications of the AMD Radeon RX 9070 Series are still unknown, some early test results have already appeared online.
Radeon RX 9070 XT Benchmark Results
In a FurMark 2 benchmark, the Radeon RX 9070 XT showed a performance very close to that of the Radeon RX 7900 XTX. The RX 9070 XT achieved 7,931 points, which puts it ahead of other previous-generation models, such as the RX 7900 XT, Radeon RX 7900 GRE, and is almost 50% faster than the Radeon RX 7800 XT. According to rumors, AMD will announce that the RX 9070 XT has 40% better performance than the RX 7900 GRE, so these numbers seem accurate.
However, there is still one big question: the price. There have been many rumors about the cost of this card, and it’s expected to be one of the surprises AMD has kept secret. While AMD has already denied that the most powerful RX 9070 XT model will cost $899, they haven’t confirmed whether it will be more expensive or cheaper than that. We’ll have to wait until the official announcement to find out.
