Surely, everyone can agree that Witcher 3 is one of the greatest games released in the last 5 years. The game is so appreciated to this day that modders are still trying to improve it in any way they can. One of the most ambitious endeavors is The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project, which includes high-quality meshes with an outstanding level of detail. Moreover, the pack offers high-quality detailed textures that don’t eat up a lot of VRAM, as well as accurate normal maps and specially customized materials. This project has now reached version 5.0, by the way.
This version of the mod brings many textures to Ultra HD quality. Furthermore, the mod’s creator has reworked almost all rivers and streams in order to add real-time reflections. There’s a lot of attention to detail here, as plenty of misc elements have received improvements. Fine examples include braziers, windows, bear furs, harbor ropes, anchors, books, bottles and more. Last but not least, we should mention the new ground textures and improved animals. Toussaint-specific elements such as cobblestone, stone walls, and stone stairs look better than ever as well.
Overall, these impressive changes will no doubt make the game feel different. If you like the Witcher 3 vanilla, there’s really no need to modify it in any way. However, if you think that there’s room for improvements here and there, just go ahead and download this awesome mod right here.
