Today, we can expect a new update for the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt PC edition, which brings official support for REDkit. This powerful mod editor will be available to anyone who owns the PC version of the game.
For those unfamiliar with REDkit, it is an extensive mod editor based on CD Projekt Red’s own game engine. Notably, the tools are based on the same set used by the developers to create the game.
While the game has already seen thousands of mods created for it, these new tools will give modders limitless freedom. We can undoubtedly anticipate many new DLC-sized fan expansion mods and total conversion mods to emerge in the coming months.
If you’re interested in getting mods for your Witcher 3 game, you can find thousands of them here on Nexus Mods.
