There is great news for the UK NAS market as Thecus struck a new deal and entered an exclusive partnership with Origin Storage to manage its reseller channels in both the UK and Ireland. With more than a decade of success, Origin is well known for their commitment to quality and value in both their products and services. Aligned with Thecus’ strong brand and industry expertise, this partnership is set to bring forth a prosperous future for both parties.
“We’re very excited about our new partnership with Origin Storage and have confidence that their distribution network will provide Thecus with a tremendous portal to its customers. With Origin’s strong reputation in the UK market, this cooperation will reinforce Thecus’ position as a trusted provider of storage solutions,” said Florence Shih, General Manager of Thecus Technology Corp.
Thecus has been a great NAS brand for many years, but it hasn’t gotten the same recognition as some of the other brands. Thanks to Foxconn Technology’s investment, Thecus is ready to take the brand to new levels. With a bigger budget, the brand can be made more visible. The visibility turns into marketing which then again turns into profit. More profit also means more product development. So there could be golden times ahead for both Thecus and their customers.
“Origin Storage is proud to represent Thecus in this new exclusive partnership, we’ve had a longstanding relationship with Thecus, and we are looking forward to supporting and expanding our Thecus reseller base. Thecus are entering a new and exciting chapter, after new investment into Thecus from Foxconn Technology Group which has allowed an increase in both private cloud products and marketing activity which will enable Thecus to reclaim its position in the NAS marketplace,” commented Stuart Eling, Sales Manager at Origin Storage.
