Services
We can easily connect our new WSS NAS to our existing Microsoft services, which is one of the key selling features of this type of system. Whether it is our Azure Active Directory, Office 365, Intune, Azure Backup, or Exchange server – it’s just a few clicks. It does, of course, require us to have accounts and access to those services.
Add-Ins
Azure Backup is the only pre-installed add-in service and that is because it is the most likely one that we’ll need. That doesn’t mean that you can’t add more roles and features to the W2810PRO.
Quick Status
The quick status page will give us a quick view on the server itself as well as our setup
Health Monitoring
Warnings can quickly be viewed through the health monitoring page of the Dashboard. The icons help to give us a quick view on the level of warning, whether it’s critical or not and so forth.
Devices
Last but not least, we can check out connected devices which include our client systems that we previously connected.
More
Due to the very nature of this NAS, it’s easy to expand the functionality with the thousands of Windows-based applications that are out there – from office suites over media player to voice chat servers and what else you might need.
