There’s a Witcher Fan Film in the Works for 2018

We still have to wait until summer to see this film, though.
We already know that Netflix is developing its own Witcher Saga TV series, but it looks like there’s another interesting project in the works that involves the franchise. We’re talking about a fan-made Witcher film, which is currently scheduled for a June 21st release. The film will last 55 minutes, and it represents the hard work of Alzur’s Legacy. Dubbed “Half a Century of Poetry Later,” the project is a full Polish production. This means that subtitles will be necessary for most of you. The great part is that a trailer for this film is already available.
The trailer.
From what we can gather, the film will remain faithful to the game, at least as far as the scenes are decor elements are concerned. As far as acting goes, it’s a bit too early to tell. However, considering the fan-made nature of the project, we shouldn’t really get our hopes up. I would have expected Geralt to have longer, white hair, but that’s just a personal preference. The story seems to revolve around Geralt being “the last Witcher.” Also, there seems to be some kind of bounty on his head. The film was initially scheduled for a release in December, but Alzur’s Legacy has decided to delay it.
