Even though current-gen consoles are the subject of controversy, the same cannot be said about console-exclusive games, as some of these are simply amazing. When it comes to Sony’s PlayStation, God of War has been one of the most appreciated games designed for this particular console, and it looks like its creators are now looking to add another chapter to Kratos’ impressive adventures. The thing is, the developers have decided to reboot the series by changing its storyline and gameplay significantly. At this year’s E3 event, Sony has unveiled the brand new God of War through a rather lengthy gameplay video, which shows off some of the title’s highlights, including its graphics and gameplay.
From what I’ve seen so far, the direction in which this game is headed is quite a bit different when compared to previous God of War titles. The third-person camera follows the main character closely, which means that the combat is much more “up close and personal” as well. Furthermore, it looks like the developers wanted to created a more story-driven game this time around, not to mention that the action is likely to take place in the Northern realms, which means that Kratos will probably face gods from the Norse mythology.
