Bohs Hansen / 10 years ago
Thermalright have presented two new CPU coolers aimed at the mini-ITX builders, the Macho 90 and the Silver Arrow ITX CPU coolers. Both are optimized for clearance and component placements on mITX motherboards, but where the Macho 90 is designed to fit as many boards as possible, the Silver Arrow was specially optimized to fit Asus’ mITX motherboards and comes in a colour scheme that fits with the Republic of Gamers (ROG) series.
The Macho 90 mITX CPU cooler has a height of just 135mm and comes with a 92mm fan that is rated for max 27 dBA. The sleeve bearing fan can spin between 800 and 2000 RPM and move up to 66.9 m³/h. The weight comes in at 552grams for this four 6mm heat pipes cooler.
The Silver Arrow is as mentioned specially designed for Asus’ line of gamers mITX motherboards and comes in a fitting design and colour scheme. Where the macho was simple and blend with its almost square shape, the Silver Arrow looks a bit more wild.
The CPU cooler weighs 870 grams with fan and comes in at 165mm height. It has a stylish black-nickel design and black heat pipe covers to finish off the optimal optics in your tiny gaming rig. The Silver Arrow features a six 6mm heat pipe built for increased cooling abilities in a small size.
The 120mm black and red fan runs from 300 to 1300 RPM where it can push 26 to 104.8 m³/h at an almost inaudible noise level of 17 to 24.9 dBA.
Both of these coolers are expected to be available in stores next week with an MSRP of €29.99 for the Macho 90 and €59.99 for the Silver Arrow ITX, including 19% VAT.
