Thermaltake Adds E600 MX Into Its CTE Form Factor Lineup of Cases

From CES in Vegas, Thermaltake has revealed their new CTE E600 MX Mid-Tower case as a part of their Centralized Thermal Efficiency form factor case range which is a design concept that emphasizes delivering high-level thermal performance to critical chassis components with a 90 degree rotated motherboard design.
CTE E600 MX Mid-Tower
The CTE E600 MX Mid-Tower case is Thermaltake’s latest mid-tower case with a dual chamber design using the CTE form factor. CTE stands for Centralised Thermal Efficiency and positions the motherboard and GPU IO at the top of the case providing a stronger emphasis on airflow to your critical components. As someone who uses a CTE case, it’s a reasonable idea and makes it easier to see your ports compared to giving your PC a reach around in a rear facing case, but it does require taking some of your panels off.
The design of the case is very modern and features a side tempered glass panel as well as an optional front tempered glass panel for a seamless O-11 Dynamic Like panel, or users can opt for the mesh panel for optimal airflow. One of the key features which sets this case part is the three-way GPU installation which allows you to either hang the GPU vertically, place it upright with the graphics card facing forward, or positioned in the middle of the chassis using the included floating GPU bracket. There are plenty of options for style in your build and Thermaltake reinforces that with three colour options including black, white and Hydrangea Blue which celebrates Thermaltake’s 25th Anniversary.
Cooling Support
The CTE E600 MX offers lots of fan installation capacity with room for up to twelve 140mm fans or fourteen 120mm fans in various spots including the rear, front, side, top and bottom. This high fan capacity also allows for up to 420mm radiators to be installed in the front, rear or side allowing for maximum water-cooling performance. Each of the intake panels feature dust filters to assist in keeping the case tidy.
Hardware Compatibility
If the amount of fan support didn’t convince you, the E600 has plenty of room for hardware including up to E-ATX motherboards, 166mm of height clearance for CPU Coolers, more than enough GPU clearance with over 400mm, and two of each 2.5″ and 3.5″ drive bays which should handle the storage needs of most people.
What Thermaltake Had To Say
“The CTE series PC case represents a significant leap in innovation, having been prominently featured at the last CES. Our latest addition, the CTE E600 MX, is remarkable. Our product design team closely studied feedback from gaming communities, particularly from hardcore gamers. They strongly preferred a PC case offering extensive installation options for critical gaming components, such as graphic cards. By balancing functionality with aesthetics, we ensured that the CTE E600 MX didn’t compromise chassis ventilation while maintaining a sleek and appealing look,” stated Michael Guo, the vice president of Thermaltake USA.
Price and Availability
The CTE E600 MX is currently being showcased at CES 2024 in Las Vegas at the Thermaltake booth from January 8th to 11th. Thermaltake did not provide pricing or availability but the product pages are available on thermaltake.com.
