Thermaltake, continuing on their mission of “delivering the perfect user experience” in all segment of the market introduced the Max series some time ago. This series seeks to bring simple and effective ways of using the HDD to bring the best out of it. Recently two new additions to the lineup have been released: the Max 5G 2.5″ hard drive external enclosure and the Max Duo (SSD & HDD) rack with USB 3.0 ports to stretch the solutions provided by the Max series for users.
Thermaltake Max 5G 2.5″ Hard Drive External Enclosure
This portable options brings a protective case for 2.5″ drive with a high flow metal mesh design to allow for better airflow and improved heat dissipation. Installation and removal are greatly eased with the press button release mechanism.
USB 3.0 SuperSpeed is supported, allowing for transfer rates of up to 5 Gbps. No installation is needed, just plug & play the drive. Inside the enclosure you’ll fit any 2.5″ SATA drive, whether it be HDD of SSD.
Thermaltake Max Duo SSD & HDD Rack with USB 3.0
Inserted into a single 5.25″ drive bay, you can fit one 2.5″ and one 3.5″ SATA drive with the support for hot-swap and hot-plug making it even simpler along with the tool-free access. A LED indicator will tell you when the HDD is working and a power switch will provide easy power up or down of the HDDs.
Additionally two USB 3.0 ports are featured, connected internally through the 20 pin header.
