This month Thermaltake is to release its new Toughpower XT series Platinum and Gold series power supplies, aiming at enthusiasts and professionals offering highly powerful and efficient powerplants, the units are in three flavours 1275W Platinum, 1375W Gold and 1475W Gold, all with a modular cable design.
The power supplies have platinum and gold certification delivering up to 94% high power efficiency,the units are highly reliable and provide true wattage, featuring the Full Bridge and LLC resonance with DC-DC module and interleaved PFC circuit designs that provide a high reliability and efficiency, in addition 100% 105°C Japanese electrolytic and solid capacitors deliver an unbeatable stable power and performance whilst the machine is constantly consuming on high wattages in every environment.
The units have dual 12v rails which are able to support 4-way Sli and 4-way Crossfire, they also boast 3 LED light status indicator which display status for stand-by, good power signal and temperature (LED will go red if something is abnormal), the fan also has three modes of operation Fanless mode, Silent mode and Cooling mode which are controlled automatically adjusting fan mode and speed to create the smooth airflow and optimal thermal performance.
