Case manufacturer Thermaltake recently added the Core G21 Tempered Glass Edition mid-tower to their LCS certified chassis line. The enclosure targets users on a budget while offering dual 4mm tempered glass panels and lots of space inside. It supports graphics cards up to 410mm long since there is no HDD cage on the way. Thermaltake made some creative choices in designing the storage hardware instead. Behind the motherboard tray and above the PSU shroud, users can mount a pair of 2.5″ drives each. Up to two 3.5″ HDDs can also be vertically mounted behind the flat panel towards the front.
The new Core G21 Tempered Glass Edition is part of the Tt LCS family, and as such is compatible with a wide range of liquid cooling components. This is not limited to just radiator support, which the Core G21 can fit radiators up to 280mm or 360mm of inside. The removal of the HDD cage paves the way for mounting larger liquid-cooling gear such as reservoirs and pumps.
While Thermaltake did not specify an actual date, the G21 Tempered Glass Edition case will be available for pre-order soon. The pricing information is also not yet finalized but it is being positioned as an affordable dual-tempered glass mid-tower. This most likely puts the price somewhere under $99 USD.
