Case manufacturer Thermaltake is announcing a new addition to their View tempered glass case series called the View 22 Tempered Glass edition case. Unlike the View 21 TG Edition, the View 22 TG Edition chassis features only a single 4mm-thick panel that gives a full view of the interior.
While the View 21 has a rounded edge front panel, the View 22 has a one-way wavy front cover. This panel is also see through, so placing RGB fans on the front really makes it shine. Literally. There is also a built-in PSU cover to hide unsightly extra cables. This also separates the thermal chamber of the PSU from the motherboard tray. Component installation comes easy with the use of tool-free mounting devices. Users can expect to install up to two 3.5-inch and/or two 2.5-inch devices.
The case is also part of Thermaltake’s Tt LCS certified product line, having spacious interior for liquid cooling support. Moreover, this design lends itself as a showpiece for fancy custom loops, so a tempered glass option is only natural. Radiator support at the front and top includes 360mm or 280mm sizes. As for regular air coolers, maximum CPU cooler height is 160mm. Meanwhile, maximum video card length is a generous 400mm.
