Thermaltake Armor A30 Micro ATX Case Review

The Armor A30 certainly has a unique appearance that isn’t like anything we’ve seen before.  We can’t say we’re a massive fan of the aesthetic design which is going to divide opinion.

The front panel of the case has a rather unusual layout and features two external 5.25” bays and a single 3.5” bay.  At the bottom of the case on the left we find the front panel connections which consist of a USB2.0 port, a USB3.0 port and eSATA port and two 3.5mm connectors.  The power and reset buttons are located on the bottom of the case at the right.

Both side panels of the case are identical and feature a large air vent at the front with a window directly behind.

In the top of the case there is a sizeable 230mm exhaust fan which is peppered with blue LEDs to make the case look a bit more exciting when it’s in use.

Moving round to the rear of the case, there are two 60mm exhaust fans alongside the mountings for a full size ATX power supply.  There is are also four expansion slot covers on the back of the case as the A30 supports Micro ATX motherboards.
