Thermaltake @ Computex 2024

Computex 2024:

Thermaltake is always one of the biggest exhibitors at Computex, and this year was absolutely no exception, with a new booth design for this year, and a truly incredible range of new cases, coolers, power supplies and so much more on display this year.

One of the most prominent new launches is their new case, The Tower 600. The Tower series has been a big hit for Thermaltake, with a few versions already on the market, however, as the name would suggest, the 600 is the biggest and most feature rich Tower to date!

The biggest change is the size, with it being much bigger, it’s the first Tower case to support ATX motherboards, opening up more opportunity for high-performance systems. Even cooler is that it also supports the increasingly popular BTF motherboards for stealthy cable management.

With room for up to a 420mm AIO cooler and twelve 120mm fans, massive graphics cards, an ATX PSU, and plenty of storage, it’s clear that Thermaltake’s The Tower 600 means serious business.

Next up, we have the AX300, an entry-level workstation type mid-tower, with a high-airflow design, 420mm radiator support, and room for the larger EEB style motherboards.

The AX500 is interesting, as it looks like a modern case, but has hallmarks of a more traditional workstation tower, as it features a few stackable 3.5″ HDD cages, allowing for up to seven hard drives. However, you can still fit a 420mm radiator, EEB motherboards, and multiple graphics cards.

I love the high-airflow front panel too, which features 5.25″ bays for card readers, controllers and more.

If you’re building a server, rendering rig, AI workstation or the like, you may want something even more robust. The AX700 supports XL-ATX motherboards, and even more storage should you need it.

It’s pretty massive, but I guess, if you need a lot, then it supports a lot!

The fully modular 5.25″ tray front panel design is pretty neat too, and even supports the LCD kit from Thermaltake.

The CTE E550 TG is a great looking case, but this last few years, Thermaltake has dabbled with a few interesting colour options, and this year, they’ve gone for a unique Gravel Sand option.

The case is well equipped, offering extensive cooling support throughout.

With extremely well ventilated side and top panels, and three sides of tempered glass to showcase your hardware.

However, it’s also available in the usual range of Thermaltake colours too. I quite like that green one! It’s certainly unique to see glass at the back of the case though.

I don’t think anyone else has tried this option yet, and it certainly stands out!

Next up, the Ceres 350 MX Snow, with BTF motherboard support, dual tempered glass windows options or perforated mesh, and two CT140 ARGB Sync fans and one non-RGB as standard.

The range of colours available is certainly eye catching, and it should be pretty easy to find one that suits your taste.

What does grab your attention is the built-in LCD display on the side, which can be fully customised, such as this lovely Pikachu video on the yellow case.
