Thermaltake has just revealed the latest edition of their popular Core X71 chassis! While still the same chassis we know and love on the inside, the Core X71 has been treated to a tempered glass makeover, giving it a stunning premium quality look that’s sure to excite enthusiast system builders.
We love our chassis to come with massive windows on them, giving you the perfect way to show off your lovely new hardware, and even more so when you’re installing a slick custom loop water cooling setup, as you can really put your hard work on display. Plastic panels are fine, but with every manufacturer falling over themselves recently to add a glass panel, we couldn’t be happier, as it looks infinitely better while rarely increasing the price by much vs the old panel.
The panel on the Core X71 is massive, covering almost the full top section of the chassis, while still leaving the lower chamber covered and filtered, as it’s primarily used for storage and cooling hardware, and needs that airflow to operate.
If you’re planning on rocking an HPTX, XL-ATX, or EATX motherboard, expansion cards over 350mm, as well as a plethora of storage drives, the Core X71 Tempered Glass Edition has got you covered, and it’ll do it in style thanks to the newly upgraded side panel.
No word on retail price just yet, but expect it to come with a small premium over current plastic panel variants at retailers very soon.
