Thermaltake CT120 ARGB Sync PC Fan Review

Thermaltake is one of the leading brands for high-end PC accessories. With many of the most popular cases, coolers and power supplies on the market today, they’re a big hit with PC enthusiasts. Their latest product is in the office today, the Thermaltake CT120 ARGB Sync PC fans. There are actually a few versions of these fans available too. They come in either black or white variants and with or without ARGB lighting effects. I have a twin pack of the CT120 ARGB White and a twin pack of the CT120 ARGB Black in the office today though, but largely, I suspect the non-RGB will perform broadly the same.

CT120 ARGB Sync PC Cooling Fans are Thermaltake’s new generation PWM fans designed to fit all PC usage scenarios. The CT Series Fans have fan speeds from 500 RPM up to 2000 RPM and are made with specially tuned fan blades that can push the air further with a max noise level of 25.8 dBA. Furthermore, their new Cable-Integrated Daisy-Chain Design provides more flexibility in cable management benefits too, and its 9 addressable LEDs can be controlled through motherboard sync software for spectacular lighting effects.

• Less Cable, More Friendly – The new cable-integrated daisy-chain design allows the fans to be directly connected, so it minimizes demands of 4-pin PWM and 3-pin ARGB ports on your motherboard and shortens the cable length between the fans. We’ve also included two 900mm PWM cables and two 900mm ARGB cables for you to easily manage your cables while assembling your build.
• Solid Structure for Better Performance – The new CT Series fan frames are crafted to be steady and robust so the fan won’t deform easily. We have also modified the exterior design to allow the fans to fit the chassis or radiator even better, so there won’t be gaps for air to slip through.
