The Thermaltake CTE E600 MX is a pretty big case, bigger than a lot of people will likely need. However, for those wanting high-end motherboards, big cooling solutions and flagship graphics cards, that space is going to be most welcome. As you can see, it features metal front panel mesh, which offers up plenty of cooling support.
However, this can be swapped out for a glass panel, which features a pillarless design, but we’ll get to that later in the build.
Up on the top of the case, there’s a large metal plate, with a huge amount of ventilation cut into it, allowing more fans and airflow throughout the top of the case.
Towards the front, there’s a well-equipped I/O panel, giving you plenty of USB ports, power controls, and audio jacks.
Down the right side, there’s yet more ventilation, with two vertical vents. The one towards the front supports more fans and radiators, while the rear one provides airflow to storage, power supply, and the back of your motherboard.
Around the back of the case, you’ll be surprised to see yet more ventilation, not an I/O panel, as this case supports even more fans and radiators in the rear. This means you can draw air in at the front, back, side and bottom of the case for massive airflow and high air pressure, but it exhausts out of the top of the case, not the rear.
