The current crop of Thermaltake PC cases are easily as good as they’ve ever been. One of their most popular, and my personal favourites, are the Divider series. They’re pretty much like a lot of their cases really, but with a half steel, half glass side panel design that just looks a little more unique and interesting.
However, while most of the cases in this series were larger ATX cases, they’ve now unleashed a range of micro-ATX models for those wanting something a little more compact. The new Divider 200 series with TG Air and TG editions, giving you a choice of higher airflow designs with the TG and more visual flair with the tempered glass version. However, both of those come in either black or white, giving you four new models to pick from in total.
The cube design of the Divider 200 makes it well suited to compact gaming PC builds. It’ll work great on or under your desk, and thanks to the front panel and side panel windows (on the TG) you get loads of ways to show off your latest gaming PC build.
Of course, if you chose the TG Air, you only get the side panel window, as the front is swapped out for a perforated steel mesh instead, which looks pretty fantastic actually. Either way, on both versions you can see those stunning front-mounted ARGB fans. The Divider 200 series is equipped with one preinstalled 200 mm front fan and one 120 mm standard rear fan to ensure outstanding cooling performance. However, the Air version comes with a pair of 200mm fans in the front and a 120mm in the rear, for greatly increased cooling performance.
The design concept of the brand new Divider 200 TG Air is around its airflow. The highlight of this edition is that instead of glass there are perforated T-shaped intake cutouts on the front panel, which represents the TT logo. This design achieves both aesthetics and performance. Compared to panels made of full glass or steel, the airflow-optimized front panel is more direct and the heat can be extracted more smoothly; and together with two preinstalled fans with 200 mm at the front and 120 mm at the rear, the Divider 200 TG Air is designed to have better cooling performance.
The Divider 200 series has 3 mm tempered glass windows on the front, top and left side. The classic Divider 200 TG edition is especially suitable for those who already have their hardware such as fans; Its simplicity gives more flexibility for users to garnish their build in a preferable way.
The Divider 200 TG has well-designed removal magnetic fan filters on the right side and inner bottom side. At the front and bottom, the removable filters provide excellent dust protection and dirt reduction, ensuring a dust-free environment.
The cooling performance of the Divider 200 TG Air is excellent. The front panel comes with perforated T-shaped intake cutouts, air vents on the two sides of the front mesh panel and top tempered glass, and the vent between two triangular pieces of tempered glass and steel panels on the left side allows optimal air intake. (For the Divider 200 TG, the air vents on the two sides of the front and top tempered glass, and the vent between the two triangular pieces of tempered glass and steel panels on the left side allow optimal air intake.) Cooling exhausts are located at the rear of the case. On the right side, the two triangular steel panels are designed with a large venting mechanism for air intake or exhaust depending on the user’s overall PC layout design.
The Divider 200 series has excellent hardware expansion. It can support a CPU cooler with a maximum height of 185 mm, VGA with a maximum length of 340 mm (without radiator), a power supply with a length of up to 200 mm (without bottom fan), a total of three 3.5″ HDDs and three 2.5″ SSDs or a total of six 2.5″ SSDs. When it comes to the cooling solution, the Divider 200 comes with one preinstalled 200 mm standard front fan for cold air intake and one 120 mm standard rear for hot air extraction. The case can hold up two 140 mm fans at the front and two 140 mm fans on the right. Moreover, the Divider 200 series is optimized for air cooling and advanced AIO liquid cooling components. It can support AIO 280 mm at the front and on the right.
All Divider 200 series cases are backed by a three-year warranty and supported by the Thermaltake worldwide customer service and technical support network. For more information, visit the official product pages here.
