Thermaltake is proud to announce the launch of it’s new CTE T500 Full Tower chassis available in both ARGB and an AIR variant in both white and black colour options.
Thermaltake CTE T500 Full Tower Case
Thermaltakes CTE T500 chassis is a full tower chassis capable of fitting a full E-ATX motherboard as well as other large components. Its name stands for Centralized Thermal Efficiency, which is a new form factor utilizing a 90-degree rotation of the motherboard to create more efficient airflow pathways and places the CPU and GPU closer to the cool air generated from the front and rear panels. With its emphasis on cooling, it offers plenty of ventilation with ventilated front, top and rear panels plus features the option of a partially tempered glass front and rear panel for the ARGB variant of the case.
Cooling Options
Pre-installed with the ARGB variant of the case are three CT140 ARGB fans and with the AIR variant are three CT140 fans which are Thermaltake’s new generation of fans offering speeds of 1500 RPM and feature specially tuned fan blades to push the air further. In total users can install up to eleven 120/140mm fans across the front, top and rear. For water cooling enthusiasts, there is room for up to a 420mm rad in the front and 360mm in the rear.
Hardware Support
The CTE T500 is a full tower case and gives plenty of room for larger hardware capable of fitting an E-ATX motherboard with a 195mm CPU tower cooler, 385mm of GPU clearance and 180mm PSUs. For storage, there is room for up to six 2.5″ SSDs or four 3.5″ HDDs plus the case includes velcro straps and cable clips to keep all your cables tidy.
I/O
The front I/O of the case is plentiful with two USB 3.0 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, and one HD audio jack. I was hoping with this design that the motherboard USB would be accessible from the top giving easier access but unfortunately, it appears as though the top needs to be unscrewed still. Come on Thermaltake give us easy top-panel motherboard I/O access and I’ll be sold on this case, I’m tired of reaching around the back of my case to find the USB.
