Thermaltake Launches New “The Tower 900” E-ATX Vertical Super-Tower Case

The new “The Tower 900” case was first unveiled at the Thermaltake booth in Computex where Kenny Lin, Thermaltake CEO himself, did the introductions. This is the first case manufactured by Thermaltake in collaboration with famed French modder Mathieu Heredia. Mathieu is a veteran in the modding scene and is one-half of the popular French modding duo Watermod. The original casemod by Mathieu was a Thermaltake Core X9 flipped so that it was made to stand vertically, and was entered in Thermaltake’s casemod invitational. Thermaltake liked the idea so much that it has now been turned into a production model.

“Every time I mod, I try to do something different from my other friends and modders. Especially when I was invited to the 2015 Thermaltake CaseMOD Invitational Season 2, I completely rethought the Core X9 and wanted to build something with a unique design but fully functional. The end result was The Tower. I would have never imagined that Thermaltake really understood the same spirit of this project and decided to mass produce it. I want to say it came as a shock, and for that I thank Thermaltake again. I hope that this design collaboration will be a great success!” says Mathieu.

The Tower 900 will be available in a black variant and an all-white “Snow Edition” and will come standard with 5mm-thick tempered glass panels. The Tower 900 will also have extensive liquid cooling support right out of the box. Retail price is set for $249.99.
